The coronavirus has many effects on my present day to day life. With the onset of the coronavirus things has changed drastically in my life. My previous work has since closed and transfer me to a different department in order to keep me employed. I am still working but it has affected my family schedule because I now must start earlier than I use to. In addition, my two children are home from school closer but still have schoolwork to do, which I am not there to guild them through especially my seven-year-old. So, joggling my work and all their extra schoolwork has left me exhausted. On top of that I also have my own schoolwork to complete which I am always behind on. Another way in which the coronavirus has affected me is the ability to feel safe and comfortable when am at work or outside grocery shopping. I am so worried that I may catch the virus that I get headaches just thinking about it. The coronavirus has limited my mobility in terms of visiting family because of the social distance restrictions in place. I come from a large family and we are all very close and always get together but now we are not able to. Finally, my family financial situation is also affected because my husband got laid off and now, we only have one income coming in to support the family. I feel like I am at rock bottom and emotionally I am fighting to keep strong and praying that this would soon be all over. I am grateful that we are all still alive and have each other.

Hello Again and welcome back to final post for my English 100 class. I struggle a lot with keeping up due to current pandemic, but I was determining to do my very best. I will be looking back on my journey from day 1 and where I am today. I had to watch a short video on Reflective Writing. Reflective writing is looking back at past event and future events. It ask you think about your thought, why? How? and so what? I Also had to look at Genres in Academic Writing: Reflection. The purpose of Genres writing is to help you learn from a particular practical experience and make connections with what you have taught. I also had to look at what is GRITT G means your genre awareness R means your rhetorical awareness I means your identity as an author T means your theory of writing T means your transfer of writing to future writing situations Your Transfer of writing to future writing situations.
Writing to such an extent wasn't something I normally do before other than making the occasional grocery list for shopping. As I reflect on my time throughout this class I have grown tremendously for I now know how to write a research paper and how to use many different citation methods. I had no idea about citation methods when I start writing such as MLA format. I can now use this method properly. Even though I may struggle with putting my ideas into words and starting. I have more confident in myself as a writer because I have learned that writing is a process that takes time and can only improve over time with more effort and practice. I have also learned to see writing as something that could be fun and interesting by writing about what you like or is interested in. Research your topic get many view points on it before starting. Therefore, making the writing process less frustrating and difficult. As I look forward to writing future papers I plan to take what have learnt throughout this writing process and apply them towards my writing. |
